That's it? he only paid 3hudred somthing for the violation? ....They lock me up for 2 hours for doing ONLY 96 in a 30mph zone. I HATE Chicago's BURBS...

 

I can't believe his fine was that cheap. The last speeding ticket I got was in Oregon for going 82 in a 55 and the fine for it was $380.

 

Bless America? Hell, that guy should've been locked up, no question. At the minimum, the fine should have been at least twice of what he paid.

Ticket prices are trippy. The first C&I I got was $1,000 with $500 suspended if I didn't get a ticket within the next 6 months (142 in a 55). The last ticket I got going to the St Louis meet was 76 in a 55 and a work zone and the ticket is $125. Go figure. I was thinkin' big money. Can you say traffic school?
