all i hear at the dive bars i frequent is country and bad rock music... like... creed.

one exception to that... one of my friends loves to be a dick and play the worst music he can find on the jukebox. one time he pissed everyone off so much the bartenders actually turned off the jukebox in the middle of one of his songs.

You should come to Indianapolis. WFBQ, the true home of the Bob and Tom radio show, have an afternood DJ that just loves Rush. Every other song is a Rush song, and anytime they have a promotion, like a luch hour special, or a two for tuesday, or a 5 o'clock drive by where they play more than one song by an artist, this guy ALWAYS plays multiple Rush songs.

I absolutely NEVER EVER EVER want to hear Tom Sawyer again in my life EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has been doing this for years, and still has a job!!!

And this station cannot figure out why they have been #1 for 20 years in the morning but close to last in the afternoons.
haha. this is just like Philly. Preston & Steve are great in the morning but the rest of their DJs suck ass!! and they're all in love with Pearl Jam. i want to drive my car into a telephone pole whenever i hear Pearl Jam come on.

i think the list refers to overplayed songs in all walks of life not just the radio

try spending an evening in a pool hall/bar and not hear the following songs:

Cat scratch fever - ted nugent
bad to the bone - george thoroughgood
lick it up - kiss

its impossible to escape these songs

what about weddings and the obligatory:

Moni Moni - billy idol
Electric slide

can't forget Love Shack by the B-52's. I worked as a wedding DJ for about 6 months and it is because of that song that I quit.

we actually made a playlist of songs NOT allowed to be played by our DJ at our wedding. If we heard one of those songs he would not get paid.....we made him sign a contract and everything LOL
