27 days
I only have 27 more days of high school left. Just got 2 finals to take and one of them is a joke. Then i work for the summer and possibly take a trip to Japan and Korea. I will be attending duke university in the fall. My plans are to double major in biomedical and mechanical engineering and do a possible study abroad in china one summer. If i can work my schedule right, i can possibly get a masters of engineering management in 4 years with my BS if i arrange my courses right. Then off to med school (hopefully some kind of MD-PhD program). Lots of school but in the end itll be worth it because i will be able to do alot of good that couldnt be done by most people. Im definitely ready to get away from alot of high school bullshit and just relax in college. Im excited, just thought id share

I remember back in high school. Planning everything out was so easy. I miss those days. It doesn't get more relaxing in college. But as long as you can keep your focus straight and don't fall victim to negative emotions that you may cross paths with, I am sure that you are capable of achieving what you desire.
In the meantime, enjoy what you have. I really mean it.

Everyone thinks they know what they wanna do coming out of high school, Im only end of 1st year University, but you do a lot of soul searching and finding yourself in the upcoming years.. Good luck though, it sounds like a lot of work, but well worth it in the end
i didn't know what i wanted to do when going to college, i graduated and still don't know what i want to do. hahaha
college is such a joke anyways, unless you are going to med school, then it is rather intense and cut throat.
good luck to you, you have the right mindset and ambition, i have no doubt you will succeed. if you have never drank, i suggest you don't once you get there, it will keep you in the routine which is the single most important thing in college.

That's quite a plan. Not to mention an expensive one. If you're dead certain that you want to follow it, go ahead. My only advice would be to keep an open mind going into college. There's a lot of opportunities to try new things that you might find you like, any of which can put a wrench in the works for your "plan". If you're open to those things, you might find something you like even better. If you're not, then you'll probably end up working your butt off to acheive the goal you listed above, but you might miss your true calling in life.
For example: I went to undergrad dead certain that I would graduate with a degree in chemistry and a second in business. That's what I wanted to do. Fast forward six years, I graduated with a degree in acting and a second in marketing, changed majors four or five times along the way. I'm now finishing up grad school in advertising. Like others have said, I still don't know what I really want to do with myself. I'm still considering returning for a masters in either theatre or architecture.
Be open to change. Don't bury yourself in school work or you'll miss the college parts of college.

Ouch, double major in biomedical and mechanical engineering...why would you do that to yourself? Then a management degree, followed by med school...are you insane? Unless you're either a prodigy or a glutton for punishment, you're going to go bonkers trying to do all that. There certainly won't be any relaxation...
