i just finished watching the 2003 radio music award show that i taped last night. well, i didn't exactly watch the whole show, i just fastforward to all the performances. anyway, here's my summary:

beyonce lipsynced...too obviously

brooke burke's hair was hideous

michael jackson looked like one of the apes from "planet of the apes"

michelle branch's voice cracked and her general live performance was really off key

jewel couldn't hit many of her notes

tom petty rocked. his perfomance was perfect. i don't think he lipsynced but i could be wrong.

 

Damn- I was really disappointed and went to bed after Jewel sang. I was especially disappointed in Avril Lavigne's rendition of "Knocking on Heaven's Door," as I like the song, but I can't stand her singing. I guess I should have waited for Tom Petty...

Did anyone else notice how terrible the outfits were?!? Jewel was one of the few that looked decent...
