Default 350Z Wreck Recommendation

Hi All,

I let my friend drive my 350Z, and he ended up crashing it. the front end is entirely messed up. I only had liability, so insurance won't be taking care of this.

Do you think it is worth repairing? The resale salvage value is 11K approx. if lucky.

I do not know the repair costs yet, but rough ballparks were given to be from 9k-14k.

It would cost about 18-20k to get another one.

DamagedCars.com offered me 3k for the wreck, as is. Should I maybe consider parting it out?

Yeah, this is why I don't let my friends drive my car. If I were you I'd just see how much you could get out of it as is and then look for a good deal on another Z.

Doesn't your friend have insurance of his own?

Sell the car to your friend for whatever it would have been worth before the accident.
