I think I'll wait for gen 2 or 3 before I go for this. I think it will take a few years for enough programming and better tech before this would be a worthwhile format to purchase, but when it's ready it should be pretty cool. 1080P-3d...


I know some of you saw it at the CES. What did you think?

I have zero urge to put on glasses everytime I watch TV. I like the idea though.

I am not super excited about the 3D thing either. Aside from having to wear those glasses, I noticed a tremendous drop in color quality when I watched Avatar 3D at the theater. At this point it's a novelty more than anything.

i agree.

I will stick with my 1080p LCD... Good picture and no goofy glasses

Saw it. Amazing. Also saw Ultra HD TVs which are coming out. You can see 3D TV at the Sony Style Store now. They have demos.

I would rather wait for a TV that displays better picture quality than 1080P! 3-D Tv seems like something that is going to be a fad.
