4,700 new Mazda cars to be destroyed

Damn, I'd give them 10 bucks each and pay for pickup for a few project cars.

Remember when all those Volvos were lost in the English channel...what a waste.

4,700 cars is a lot...you'd think they could've sold 'em more as salvage titles, no??

Mazda got a fat check - imagine 4,700 people paying MSRP (or dealer invoice, no holdback) for a car - I'd say its pretty happy.

Pleanty of people in Mexico would buy them. Everytime one of my crazy friends would wreck their cars and placed an ad in the parts trader some mechanic who lived in TJ or had a shop near TJ would end up picking it up. I guess they are able to fix them up and sell them for good money accross the border.
