They say Christopher Columbus discovered America, but the Chinese built the largest ship of the day and landed here before Columbus was even born.

 

i keep hearing on the history channel that the chinese navy built really impressive and weird ships. i wouldnt be surprised if they beat columbus to america

 

Ummm how can someone discover America when there where millions of people already here?

 

I'm Native American, my tribe is from California. There are stories of when the Spanish explored here they were surprised that natives had silk, so yeah, someone was here before Columbus besides us.

 

There were thousands (not millions) of natives here, but the land itself was unknown to the outside world; that's the discovery part (to put it on the world map). And the fact is the Chinese landed here before Columbus; it's even written in Chinese historical documentaries.
