My "beef" are companies that you give money to for support out there gets a cut. True they should take out for administrative costs, but the people getting rich off of it make me sick.

I celebrate those rescue workers, but I also celebrate current situations. I don't have a problem with people wearing NYPD attire, what about the police officers that are out there today, not only NYPD, what about LAPD, IPD, CPD?

I'll never forget

Mike Horracks
Jason Dahl
Leroy Homer, or
Vic Saracini

All my friends, all lost in the attacks.

As many people have realized, the media doesn't like, or even care about you. It's all about ratings.

I'd suggest that you turn your TV's off for another week, and just reflect on what it means to you to live in America (for those of us who do).

Never Forget.

I think it's important that we remember the horror of the attack and it's aftermath. Don't forget that Bin Laden is probably still at large somewhere and planning his next attack. How about the guy who tried to hijack a plane in Sweden and crash it into the US embassy in London...LAST WEEK.
The world is preparing itself for further attacks on Iraq (and possible invasion) so this sort of coverage will be welcomed by the US and UK governments who are standing together against Saddam (rightly or wrongly depending on your stance).
I for one support the coverage and thank my lucky stars I live in an open democratic society.

What I don't like is that the WTC attack is being used as an excuse for too many things. Some are justified, many are not. One more thing...calling it "9/11" is demeaning to anyone who was involved. If you call it the WTC attack it makes it much easier for people to face what's bugging them and deal with it...giving it an abbreviation and talking about it like a statistic or a propaganda tool is NOT a good way to approach something that is emotionally painful. The media and government are really ing up on this and making it harder for people to deal.
