Acquiring a u.s citizenship
^ that's funny, but very true. Well actually, it depends on what regional office your address falls in. I've heard as fast as 3 months and as long as couple of years. If you get an attorney (fake btw. they are paralegal,....attorney helper/attorney wanna be), then it's sure gonna be a couple of years.

And another thing, so that website I put up that charges $199 is utterly useless for me right? Since I am at the least "capable" of filing my own application and stuff?
Thanks for the help guys!

And I've been living in the states for like 19 years.
Head down to mexico and jump over the fence back in to the U.S.... i heard, as a prize, you get free citizenship, healthcare and welfare if you can manage to pop out a few baby jumping beans (although that might be hard if you're korean?)
I am assuming you have a green card. If you do, it does not matter whether you are 20 or 80 years old.
Just go, pay the $700 or so fee and then wait for INS to call you. First you take the test, then 3-4 weeks later they call you again to take the oath.
I did it early this year and it took no longer than 7 months. I did not use an attorney, just filled the paperwork myself and sent it in. I am 32 btw.
If you do not have a green card ... then its another story.

Which one would I qualify for to file my application? My entire family are citizens except me ...

If you do not have a green card maybe you are eligible for an H1-B employment visa... After 6 years of working on H1b you can apply citizenship/greencard or take the quicker route and get married... No guarantees though.
Have a baby born in the US. He will automatically be a US citizen, which will allow you to become a Citizen...
I don't know what form you need to fill out from the mentioned links, an immigration lawyer should help with that.
Since they are part of Homeland Security now you have to make sure that all your documentation is perfect, with no gaps in between.
Or you can become Canadian, its alot easier

It's either your friend did it during the early 90's or you are smoking some good sh*t. The application fee for citizenship is hitting close to $700. Plus, I think your friend got a examiner who was pissed off that day. 3rd VP?
Also, that wasn't a test question he got.. it was on his study guide for the test. But I think he had some pretty dumbass questions, but said it was really easy so I dunno!
