Default Acts of War/Insurance coverage

I'm still in shock over everything. If this was brought up before I didn't see it. I haven't been thinking clearly lately.

I know the WTB had insurance to cover acts of war/terrorism because it was a target before. Will peoples property, buildings, cars etc. be covered? Its often noted in policies that they don't cover Acts of war. Will people suffer from loss of property as well?

Someone chime in and straighten me out about this. Thanks
