which of the following is to correct way to write a mailing address??

A)
Acme Co.
Attn: Daffy Duck
100 Warner Bros. Rd.
Burbank, CA 93434


or



B)
Attn: Daffy Duck
Acme Co.
100 Warner Bros. Rd.
Burbank, CA 93434


if both are incorrect, then what's the correct format??

Here is what I use (similar to B):

Mr. John Doe
c/o ABC Company
123 Main Street
Home Town, BS 99999
USA

The sequence goes from the most specific to the most general. So the first line is the person to whom the mail is addressed. Followed by the company, the street address, the city, state, and finally the country. At least that was the way I was taught when I was in grade school.

wow. all these intelligent and professional people in here, and no one knows for sure?? i guess it really doesn't matter. i was just curious to know what is the proper/professional way to write the address.
