Adobe Acrobat 5.0
I need some help with this software. My understanding with this software, you can create a pdf file with the option to enter "fill in the blanks" from the file online.
I want to take the taking deliver document from wirejock, create a pdf file, and have the option for people to fill it in online with their own information.
Can anyone help me with this?

Any luck getting help with this yet? I should just start a software support business
Not.
I've used Acrobat to "fill in the blanks" before. What are your intentions? Did you want to store the users info in a database? Or did you just want them to be able to fill it out and print it?
Go to http://adobedoc.kanisasolution.com/Acrobat5/Help.htm
Go to Search and type in "Creating text boxes"
That should give you a good start.

No luck yet.. read the url rstark supplied briefly. I want a basic document created to pdf (which I know how to do that) but when the doucment is posted, I want people to be able to enter their info online ie fill in their name, addy, etc. We do not want this info or a database. Just easy of use for the folks.
I also have another thought for something else for us..

I know what you want to do, but to tell you the truth, there is no easy way to do it. I have extensive knowledge in doing what you want to do. At the last place I worked, we worked with Cardiff software which would do just what you want to do. Very easily too - but the development costs are quite high in the # of hours you'd need to devote to creating a form. Of course, the form you have from wirejock could be form-enabled. You can have fax entries as well. And the best part of all - the end user doesn't have to have Acrobat (full version) to fill in the form, they only need the freeware Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher for it to work.
Now, the downside... the software is close to $20K. (no joke) And they've been doing it a long long time.

will you guys test drive this file for me. It is not pretty, but I think it would work. I inserted form text fields, saved it and viola.
Let me know if there are problems, and or what I should do to make it more efficient.
