Oh man...that's a bad trend. I hope there aren't going to be all these Civics looking to become hybrid S2ks. That means they'll be looking to get their hands on our engines one way or another.

The old Corolla GT-S is front engine RWD. This should be an easier conversion for our engine/drivetrain than a transverse FWD civic. Wait a minute, "easier" but not "easy"

Oh man...what a sad sight... Its like mounting a beautiful diamond in a cheap gold plated ring.

Yeah it does look like shit, but it looks like we have a heads up for a hybrid modification coming on the way for AE86s. Now, it's time to find a proper front cut from some wreckage down under. This can be done many more ways, it should be good to news to hybrid tuners but definitely bad for us.

Actually, it's got an interesting intake job, did anyone notice? That's doable (I think), but we might end up losing the ram air effect the stock air box may generate.

The engine without the car doesn't do much for me. But hey, I guess if you have a spare one from salvage and money to blow, why not?

Yet, for all the reasons we've discussed here that the S2000 is not the best for dragging, I'd say the F20C would not be the best choice for a custom car compared to some options. I think its the whole package (suspension, weight distribution, gearbox, and frame rigidity) that compensates for the low torque lowend output of the F20C.

I do give respect to those levins and truenos, one of the best cars for drifting... anyway dumping an F20C engine in
the 86 would pro work, especially for dragsters since the car is so lightweight.. i saw a 4G63 equipped CRX running 9's in last yr import drag events...
