Those are not proud accomplishments........unless you are proud of getting a bunch of people killed over some kind of made up threat.??? How about opening oil drilling everywhere that has been protected previously.?

Great accomplishments!

The reasons for getting into Iraq were weak, I agree. Nonetheless, it was a problem that needed to be dealt with. Even then, I felt that there were more deserving regimes than Saddam's.

If the country wishes to reduce its dependence on foreign oil, we are going to have to learn to drill where the oil is domestically. In impact on ANWAR (or whatever that acronym was) is minimal. If you are concenrned about environmental contamination, oil seeps out of the ground there all the time without human intervention. Forcing everyone to junk their SUVs tomorrow and get hybrids is not the answer.

You should learn to appreciate what he does right as well as criticize what he does wrong instead of listening to and repeating leftist propoganda. There are plenty of level-headed conservative/libertarians/moderates out there that are turned off by all that tripe. I'm also pretty sure that backfired on the last election and got W re-elected. The 'net really sucked all through 2004 with the "Hate W" campaign that was going on.

Nonetheless, as Presidents go, he's not a very good one. THat's not leftists propaganda (all though I am left handed) , it's just my opinion.

Regardless of 9/11, when he hangs up his hat as President the US will be no better off than before he took office. Except for maybe Homeland Security, which was a reaction and not on his agenda before 9/11.

And, its hard to say that the oil drilling that is going on is 'good,' 'necessary,' or 'okay.' While I am turned off of politics completely as of late, I still feel strongly against this newest area of drilling that has begun. It has nothing to do with leftist propanganda, just a want to protect what little environment is left.

Nothing wrong with that, and I respect your opinion.

If it weren't for 9/11, Bush would have been probably as lame a president as Carter was. That's not saying much, because I really don't think Gore would have done any better (again assuming 9/11 didn't happen).

Take away 9/11, Iraq, and the Patriot Act and what does that leave Bush?

Terri Schiavo. Faith-based aid.

Ugh.

I will admit there are a bunch of Whiner left wingers...... as soon as any republican slips out a racial slur or something relatively minor, all the whacky democrats call for their immediate retirment! blaaaaaa.

What has Bush accomplished? i must have missed some of the accomplishments.

I am sure the iraqi citizens that are still alive will be better off in the long run....but there have been thousands and thousands of people killed due to our invation for which the reasons have changed multiple times (plutonium.....associated w/ 9/11...... Weapons of Mass Destruction..... and lastly..... we are "liberating" them).

We have a long list of countries to go Liberate now that we are in the Liberating business!!!!
