Air Force
Made me spit Diet Dew on the papers on my desk!
That was cruel -- it IS a 50 year old aircraft design, though.
I think they used to say : "a true triumph of thrust over aerodymamics." I must say, it was really amazing that they were able to get something that heavy to fly in excess of MACH 2 with the electronics of the day.
When I was part of the F110 engine project in Turkey for the F-16 in the late 80s (yep, I'm that old)the Turks were still flying F-4's. They were flying F-4Es and RF-4Es though. I'm pretty sure they still fly them along with the F-16s. That country is armed to the teeth, I tell ya.
Anyway, back to topic. OP wants to know if anyone is in the Air Force?
