I get airborn all the time over a set of railroad tracks near my house. You can definetly tell b/c the revs shoot up when the rears start to float.

There's also some a semi-sharp (70 degree) turn that I try and take and 9 times out of 10, I bounce up and over about 2 feet. Tell me that ain't fun!!

You forgot to mention that flight distance is relative to speed as well...ergo...since I go much faster than your wife will let you, I fly farther!! he he he

Greg and I got air several times in Wisconsin in Door County last fall, all witnessed by the following Aquatic, who said that even my ponytail was pointed at the sky... We were probably a foot off the ground, and it was GREAT! Made me do this---->

My friend once went airborne in his Beretta GT with me in the passenger seat. It was a hard landing but everything seemed fine. Parked the car a bit later and when we returned it looked like the Exxon Valdez had let loose under the car. Turns out he hit the oil drain plug on impact and bent it back inside the oil pan which tore a gash in the pan.

and theres a set of rail road tracks further down campbell where you get pull a smokey and the bandit if your going fast enough

Scot,

I know you have a kid, so you should probably reconsider this. A while back there were some guys that taped a video of a Type R getting some air. Well upon landing, this person lost control and flipped the car atlesat 5-6 times I could count. At the end of the video, you could hear the friends trying to get the drivers attention, which no doubt he was dead looking at the roof of the car. So I must ask you to reconsider. When you are up there, you have no control of how the car is going to land.

Not trying to tell you what to do, but after seen that video, it's very scary...

Shing - i am only getting 6"-12" air, not any dukes of hazard/smokey and the bandit kind of air.

Remember when the General Lee would land, the entire front would crumple, then they would cut to a different angle and the car was like new and driving away.

I doubt I would try this a 100+mph either... most jumps i can find are on twisty tight roads...90mph tops..
