Someone offers you a brand new 2002 NSX, color of your choice, and type of your choice (S, Zero, Zanardi)...for free.

But...

You had to wreck your S2K with a baseball bat...knocking in all the doors and the hood, the windshield, the trunk, and spitting all over it...

Would you do it?

Considering I have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours installing my aftermarket parts, installing the stereo, and generally modifying the car... I probably will never sell the car:

I will just buy more cars in the future...

 

That is a crazy question!! I wouldn't do ANY of that to my car for a mere NSX.. heck, I wouldn't even do it for a Ferrari. After all the time and money spent, I'd tell whoever is making that kinda offer to take that NSX and shove it up his @$$!

Ok, so my car is basically stock still, but think about it this way - you're passing up an $80k+ exotic at no monetary cost, to avoid a small amount of emotional harm from trashing 'your baby'. And, without too much trouble, you could probably get your S2000 written off as "destroyed by vandals" by the insurance co.

Yes) You have an NSX, and an insurance check, with which you could aquire a NEW S2000.

No) You have your OLD S2000, mods and all.

If you have that much of an attachment to your car that you'd make such a foolish financial decision...

if my s2000 was bone stock, then yes I would.

Car /= Person
