Anybody know the story behind this. Did they have to kill the 'gator he looks like he was a big old beast! Do they become man eaters like lions, bears etc.

Seems a damned shame.

 

When I saw this pic a year back or so....the attached story stated that the gator lived in one of the water hazards of a golf course. Kind of became a local celebrity to all the golfers. Anyway, when one fo the golfers were reported missing, they ended up killing the gator to find out.

 

Nice......from then arm seems like a woman to me tho....any input people?

LOL. I don't play that game, but in my shooting days I was asked to cull a load of tame Canada geese which were on a pool by the first tee at a local course. They were crapping all over the greens and what was upsetting people most was that they were begging for food by pecking people's ankles as they were teeing off, as a way of begging for food. It seems nobody did too well off the first tee! People had created the problem of course by feeding them. The culling idea was dropped when a couple of indignant ladies on the committee got wind of it.

I don't know what the final outcome was, but their problems pale into insignificance compared to having lurking alligators.
