Hi,

Are you looking to race or drift?

You need polycarbonate specific model paint such as Pactra. A standard model paint will not work. The bodies also need to be painted from the inside.

If you look closely you can see the silver on the inside of the body which was used as a final layer.

If you are interested in racing, I would recommend that you start out with decent components and not the least expensive because you will end up upgrading and losing the money that you invested on the lesser expensive cars/components.

Thanks..

It's been built.. and played with.. and crashed.. quite a bit . It's fun.. but boring at the same time when I do it just out side of my house. I would race.. but strapped for cash, and I know things can get expensive QUICK. I'm thinking I might go the drifting route.. but..

Bashing is boring. I don't drive my cars unless it's to test a setup change or to go to the track. It becomes much more fun when there are others involved and a little competition doesn't hurt either.

What car did you end up purchasing? I have a competition 1/10th scale car that I can sell you if you are interested. I also have tires to get you started as well.

Hi,

It's electric. I only race electric. The car is the JRXS TypeR

I am only looking for $210 shipped. The car is in great shape as well. If you are interested, let me know so that I can forward pics.

HPI doesn't even have a competition level 1/10th scale onroad touring car. HotBodies which I believe is HPI owned offers their 1/10th competition touring car known as the Cyclone TC.

^^^ Which cars do you own by the way?
