That's not amazing, that's easy. Have you ever seen a snorkel shot glass?

In the case of the trick shown the dark liquid is lighter and the light liquid is heavier. When a conduit is made like that, they switch positions. If you put them into the same container they'd eventually layer out because of this.

1) Look at the spill after the whikey is on top...see how it just forms a blob on the tray and doesnt run?
