I am sitting here browsing s2ki and my gf is watching American Idol. While I have nothing against gay guys, is it now a requirement to have a lisp and flail your hand to be on the show?
They just had Ryan Seacrest interview a guy and Ryan asks "Tell us something that people should know about you" the guy replies with "I look like Ellen DeGeneres"

People probably thought that was funny or quirky, but if some straight dude came out and said "I look like Matt Damon." I'm sure everyone would've been like "WTF, mate?" and Seacrest would've tactfully made fun of em.
Stupid show. Haven't watched it since years ago when I had a girlfriend from whom I was willing to compromise on what I actually wanted to do with my time.

I was at work tonight and I walk into the break room and a couple of girls were watching Idol. Now every year, I stop watching after the auditions 'cause after that it's just....singing.
Now I've found a new reason to watch
She looks absolutely gorgeous and can sing great. Her voice still has to develop a bit, but her control is unbelievable. Pitch perfect.
And I'm pretty sure all the dudes are gay. [not that there's anything wrong with that]

Well gorgeous I wouldn't call her, cute maybe, but she can sing when she gets into it.
She's got to learn how to dress and get rid of those pants she wears!
Overall the guys did much better than the girls. The guys had some weird choices of songs but at least they hit the notes. The girls worried about their outfits more than getting the songs right and notes were crackin' all over the place.
