As for Naruto lasting a long time, yes in anime terms. It will last quite a long time because if a new ep was released every week, it would take 2 full years + more to catch up to where the manga is at, right this second. The anime will still be, being produced 2-3 years from now.... Manga wise, he could be close to ending it but I doubt it. It's at a turning point where sooooo many things could happen...

for all we know, jiraiya could be killed in the rain country and all out war could occur between the leaf and the rain. thus you have such a huge spectrum for stories along the missions the war would entail. sasuke could be the one who ends up killing uchiha madara and who knows how badass Pain will be when he eventually fights.

that is true. I used to watch Blood Plus on Adult Swim but when I first started watching it, it was 1 episode of talking, then next week's episode would be like 5-7min of action so I lost interest
