I've watched my NASDAQ laden portfolio go down 50% in the past 6 months. Although it's of little consolation, I am sure there are tons of other people who are going on the same ride.

May have to hold off on any significant purchases in the near future. Damn.

I'm on the same sinking boat...It is so funny that someday you said to yourself "I'm gonna be RICH" then the next day "Fvck, I'm so broke". SC maybe on the HOLD again!!!

Good thing you took that $32K out of stock and invested in a good car, eh?

NASDAQ came back a little. It's up 36.94.

Now it's up about 43.55.

If would go about a THOUSAND more we would be in the black again!

What's your worst stock nightmare?

I bought WebVan at the IPO! What a sucker I was. Paid $27 a share. I think it dipped below $1 today. (kick myself in the a$$)

With the money I lost, I could have had another S2K.....maybe Yellow, or trade all the S2K's in for a 996....yeah. !POP!

I only got in on one IPO, and that was through E*Trade. Last year when IPOs were the hot thing, I actually had a monitor set up that would scan the E*Trade IPO offering page every minute. When it changed, meaning that they were taking offerings of interest, it would alpha page me. I would immediately log in and start punching the transmit button.

I got in once on Value America (VUSA). I held on for the recommended 30 days and made 150%. If I sold in the first couple of days I would have made 600%.

Greed is good but recently I dumped everything that has at least a 10% gain.

Picked up Wave telecom (wv) at 3.90 50k It took off to 16 bucks so I sold half. Thinking it would continue to climb. Now its .90 so much for profit margins
