Anti-"Stook" Club
WoW what a controversy, but is it nessicary? Why would you even think the thought's you think, call something you love by anything other than it's rightful name. Phonetics are used in dictionary's and you've murdered our car trying to simulate them. You haven't come up with a clever nickname, it's a distortion of a nickname, S2k seems more right though not perfect for My S2000. Don't argue it, there's no reason to use it other than laziness, I myself find it easier to type stook but since when is anything in life supposed to be easy, S2000 flows from my fingertips with less guilt and hostility, as for the club, count me in.
I can see "St**k" being regarded as inane, but people should be allowed to abbreviate. For example, the "Pro-ST**K"'s people, at this moment, would individually describe themselves as "ROFLLMAO" At you all :-)
Therefore, I propose that the term "S2K" is an acceptable abbreviation only for use in written correspondence [and vanity license plates], much like hospitals use "GSW" instead of "Gun Shot Wound" -- GSW is faster to write, but more syllables to speak.
I'll concede that anyone who ordered one in Suzuka, for the express purpose of having a, "Little Blue ST**K", needs serious help...
For our first order of business, I submit that the anti-st**kers should go lobby GTO owners to quit referring to their cars as "Goats"!
My satirical $.02

VA Plate obtained, "NMBSS2K"

ROFLMAO

That just about sums up my thoughts of people using THAT word
This is my FIRST EVER post !!!
I've read many threads over the last month or so and agree that the word st**k looks ungainly and about as appropriate to such a beautiful car as the word "Skoda".
Please count me in
