I certainly hate the nickname "stook".

But the nickname for the German WWII dive bomber that made a very similar sound to our car at 8500 revs (the Junkers 87 or was it 88?) was "Stuka". Now THAT doesn't sound like a sick bird. So, if you have to give it a nickname................
