Antioch 8-Year-Old Drives to School

An eight-year-old Antioch boy didn't want to be late to school, so he drove himself.

Police say the second-grader hopped into his parents' Hyundai and drove a mile and a half to Fremont Elementary School. He even managed to drive through a construction zone.

There's no explanation of how the child learned to drive so well. But the police officer who gave him a ticket was not impressed with the feat.

Jesus christ, a police officer actually ticketed him? What license will the points be taken off of, and on what insurance? What an ass, he should have just driven the boy home...

That's crazy! The last time my bro drove a car that young he plowed it into a tree! I'm not sure what my sister was thinking letting him drive it even if it was only supposed to be to the end of the driveway.

 

how did he/she reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel...reminds me of that kid from Indiana Jones that had the ABC blocks on the gas/brake pedals.
