Any Boy Scouts here?
My oldest son is 7 and sort of likes the outdoors, so..... my wife signs him up for Boy Scouts (actually "tiger" scouts).....then elects for me to take him.
I didn't join boy scouts when I was a kid because my dad said he wasn't going to pay for me to hang out with a bunch of fags...ahahah
well.... you should have seen this crowd (appoligizing in advance to any webalow's or den masters or whatever)..... i was by far the coolest guy in the room (which says NOTHING for these other drones)....
out of 6 total "tiger scouts", 3 were totally uncontrollable and listened to absolutely nothing, including the "tiger master"
And they kept talking about dropping the bar of soap.?? what the hell was that all about?
Scot - not planning to attend any more of those meetings!

That's funny my dad said the same thing!
Hence I spent many a summer cutting front and back lawn. Do you know what it's like cutting 35 acres of grass. This will teach you a whole lot more then Scouts. Like how to make a remote control lawn mower for one. But I'm kinda getting offtopic here reminicing.

i grew up a Mormon, so naturally i went through the whole scouts thing
i thought it was pretty nice, i learned how to handle guns, learned how to administer first-aid, learned how to perform CPR, learned how to survive in the wilderness, learned a lot things that are still fresh in my mind.
i was 3 merit badges and one project short of the Eagle scout. oh well.

you grew up a mormon? I think the boyscouts learn good stuff, but....... out of a 4000+ student school district...there were about 25 kids tops! That isn't a very good turnout in my mind.
at least now they make 2 or more "leaders" go with the kids in the woods so there won't be as much molesting as previously.? Hope that wasn't what was fresh in your mind.

Was your father's name RON BURNER? I had to "rent" the lawn mower from my father for $2 per yard that I cut. He made me cut other people's yards to make money...... I could have bought myself a new lawn mower with as many $2 that I gave him.
Can't wait to make my 5 year old cut the grass (joking)

Nope, but they maybe seperated at birth.. Actually my dad figured the yard was big enough, he didn't have the heart to charge me for the privledge. but then again, I was pretty spoiled so who am I to complain. Now I get him to cut my grass.

I was a Boy Scout. I had 20 merit badges. One more and I would have been an Eagle Scout. No 21 was going to be Astronomy -- my thing! Unfortunately, I was kicked out of the Scouts for hiding behind a bush with another guy and ambushing the Scoutmaster's son (he was a real weenie) with waterballoons. This event probably explains a lot of my behavior since.
