Default Any funny cop stories?

This wasn't in my S, but I was driving from Chicago to T.H. Indiana, tired from a long flight back from Germany. I was going th speed limit of 55 on a country road, and it was late at night. I actually had my cruise set on 55. Apparently the road went down to a 45 and I didn't notice, so when I see a cop off ahead, clocking, I didn't even try to slow down. He pulled out, followed me a bit, but I wasn't worried, thinking I was going the exact speed limit. So he pulls me over. Pretty nice guy, but he asks if I've got anything illegal (drugs) in the car he should know about. Says they get lots of people running drugs down that area. Asks if he can search my vehicle. Although it was a PITA, I figured it was better than waiting for him to get a warrant, etc, so I said sure. He had me stand at my hood with my hands on my hood, which I didn't really expect. So he's going through my car, and I hear him radio "blah, blah, checking a car, blah..." and then he rips this huge fart. I almost pissed my pants. So I get back in my car, he gives me my license back and then is like, "Alright, just pay more attention to the posted speed, and.. uh.... sorry for bustin' ass in your car."

Um this is not that funny but I was once pulled over leaving a high school football game. I did not drink and was a real goody two shoes, but since most kids did drink, some of the squirrel chasing cops would sit outside high school football games and pull over students leaving the game to search there cars. This is illegal, but the courts don't give a rats so big deal........

Anywho this douche pulls me over, searches my car and finds nothing. I said to him, you know it is illegal to search through a car with no probable cause to pull someone over, so he says "fine then you went through a stop sign." He then proceeds to write me a ticket for going through a stop sign (which was not even on the route of my travel but was closest to where he pulled me over). Then tells me I should have more respect for the law.

To make a long story short, judge tell me and my passenger that we are liars basically because we were only 18 and how dare we question this upstanding police officer. I get a ticket and pay about $1000 in insurance over the next few years. So where I live is not that big of a town and the cops hang out at the same places all the time. DQ, Burger King etc. We (myself and half my graduating class) see his cop car parked several times when he is stopped for a break. It has the air let out of all the tires many times, dog crap thrown onto the driver seat, garbage dumped into it, a door kicked in, blah blah. Cars full of kids would drive passed him and honk and wave when he waited for someone to show up with a compressor to fill up his tires. As coincidence would have it, the local cop cars are serviced at the dealership a few high school kids work at so when they come in, notes are hidden in them explaining that officer Johnson likes to go down on his own mother. Hidden in places where they will not be discovered for a few days or weeks. I also know someone that claimed to put something (I will not say what) into his food when he stopped for dinner one night. I did not do most of this stuff but I did nothing to save him from the tomfoolery.

I also file a complaint against him so he is told not to come near me and when I see him driving I get to pull up next to him and give him the finger all the way down the road. Sometimes for miles. When he would turn to avoid me, I would just follow so I could give him the finger some more. Ahhh to be young and foolish.

I think your story is funnier, but I get a luagh out of a whole bunch of people taking it out on a jerk with a badge who thought he could get away with being a dick to people. We never messed with any other cops because they seemed decent enough, but this guy put a target on himself. To bad the statute of limitations has passed or I could be in trouble I guess. I always get a kick out of it when black friends say that nobody understands what it is like to be hassled by cops for no reason. It happens to all kinds of people.

This one takes the cake guys...

I had a 93 civic hatch with a gsr swap right... let my buddies friend drive it around town because he was bugging the crap out of me to drive it, while i stayed at the house. He got back to my house, handed me my keys and was laughing historically. Didn't know why, but found out later on when i was driving through town and was pulled over by 4 police officers. They asked me what i had been doing earlier in the day and told them how i was at the house all day. (I knew where this was going...) They said i was lying and that i had ran from them earlier than afternoon after doing a hellacious burnout in the middle of town. Shaking my head i secretly started to giggle inside cause i had now realized what that dick was laughing about. So i told the officer that i had let my friend drive my car that earlier and he wanted to know who it was. Knowing that this person would have never take the blame leave me with the ticket... i called him up (while still being pulled over) and told him to meet me at so and so. He pulled up a few mins later and the officers identified him as the one driving and slapped him with a 6 pointer!!

Many years ago I had a 1970 Grand Prix with a 428cid big block V8 in it. It was long and low and backing out of a steep driveway both tailpipes dug into the ground and broke both mufflers off. This left me with two wide-open straight pipes. It was very loud. I was several hundred miles from home and decided to drive it home before I fixed it. On the way home I was playing around listening to the noise when I decided to blast up a hill at a little over 100 mph. When I topped the hill I saw a 30 mph speed limit sign, and a cop aiming a hand held radar gun at me. Not knowing what else to do I smiled and waved at the very startled looking cop. When I sailed past him he had a befuddled look on his face and was raising his hand to wave back at me. He didn
