Default Any GOOD quotes?

Do you guys (and gals) have any good quotes - short ones but not too short. It's for a yearbook so it would be great if...umm...there's nothing bad in them!! I'm really having a hard time coming up with some and looking for them. Even if anyone has a good quote in their signature that they would let me use - that would be great!

Please throw all your ideas before October 15. Thanks

Rice is food. S2000 is life

seriously:

- The essense of flying is throwing yourself at the ground and missing.

- Every year we grow older, but our hearts remain the same. Proud.

In the game of life YOU are the loser.

There is a good quote from Soichiro Honda. It's in somebody's sig. It was something to the effect of this: Your life can be measured by how much your soul has been stirred. Or something like that... All i remember is the word soul and stir.

I'm of no use

This is by Soichiro Honda ....

"To me, success can be achieved only through repeated failure and introspection. In fact, success represents 1 percent of your work and results from the 99 percent that is called failure."

And this is the one ASIMO was talking about ....

"The value of life can be measured by how many times your soul has been deeply stirred."

"Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not; it is the first lesson that ought to be learned; and however early a man's training begins, it is probably the last lesson that he learns thoroughly."

Thomas H. Huxley (1825 - 1895)

If you sit on a hot stove for a minute, it seems like an hour.
If you sit next to a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute.

That's relativity.

Anyone who does not understand mathematics is not completely human.

At best, he is a tolerable sub-human who has learned to wear shoes, bathe, and not make messes in the house
