I'm currently working on an agenda for one of the executives I work with who is in charge of our department. he just came in to our sector and I have to plan an agenda for him. Basically i plan the big presentation of him meeting our whole department and also what will be discussed.......I have several ideas, just want to get some more...

1)Introuduction

2)His history, background etc

3)vision, goals for our department

4)Answering our questions and concerns*(I am already polling for questions now all individuals who will get back to me with their questions they want to know and then we will decide which are the best)

5)conclusion

So thats what I have so far........any other ideas i could put in? Thanks!

 

he may want to discuss his leadership/mgmt style, give some examples of his past success so people can start learning how to effectively work with him.

remember that this presentation is not for his benefit but for the rest of the team he's taking over. a good leader needs to prove he can earn his team members' trust and respect - just because he's the boss doesn't mean he deserves the respect.

lastly, if he hasn't read it, get him a book called "You're In Charge: Now What?" by Thomas Neff
