I find it easier to pick up chicks when I'm not wearing my wedding band.

I don't wear any jewelry, not even a watch. My wife has a custom wedding ring...Dragon holding the diamond.

I wear my fiancee's titanium promise ring she gave me. Doesn't brother me, and I only take it off to work out or work on the car. I'm ready to wear my wedding ring this November.

I'm glad someone picked up that I was only joking.

My ring actually never comes off except sometimes when cooking.

Congrats, Mav!

the trick is to get one that doesnt look like a wedding ring.

There are some pretty cool looking platinum rings out there...with some cool engravings...

Thanks and thanks for the laugh. When I read your comment I busted out laughing in my office. The people walking by looked at me funny.

When I first got married the ring bothered me. I am not a fan of jewelery, but once i got used to it I left it on for about 5 years. I mean I never took it off. Then I got a new job and can't wear it at work, so I very rarely wear it anymore. My wife understands.
My wife and I bought our wedding rings together and made sure I got a comfort band. Once I got used to it (about 3 months) it felt weird not having it on. If you do get married give it a couple of months and I am sure it won't bother you.

I wear mine 24/7 - as a matter of fact, I can't get it off. I think I've got arthritis in that knuckle.

I wish I could take it off to work on the car, a friend of mine wedged his ring between the hot side of a starter solenoid and ground. Melted his ring and burned the crap out out of his finger. Gold is a great conductor of heat and electricity.
