Any New Yorkers? I Need Help!
Greetings New Yorkers
My son has been accepted at the NY Film Academy, in Manhattan.
We went there to look at apartments a few weeks ago, and had no luck, because we needed to have a 'broker' to look.
My niece (who will be sharing an apt. with my son) has been back, and isn't having any luck. She was told that they will need to have someone co-sign the lease that makes 40X the monthly rent, annually. Not a problem, my wife and I can handle that. The problem is,,, they refuse to send an application. We have to be there. One place told her that they wouldn't let someone on the West Coast co sign. WTF!!!
The kids would really like to live near school while they are there. Does anyone have any connections or suggestions for living arrangements in the Manhattan area?
What would be the next best place to look. We only have about a month to make this happen.
