Also, patent attorney's make a LOT of money - they don't need to steal your idea. They make a great income off your idea anyways.

A lot of patents aren't worth the cost. Too many fools out there are patenting things that are obvious to a "practicioner of the art." The patent office must be hard-up for good examiners.
