Any pilots out there?
Morris,
Couldn't find the stats on their website- I'll look in the mag when I get home. Don't get me wrong- I'd love to do aerobatics one day. When I had my solo checkride, I asked the instructor to put me in a spin and show me recovery as it was my club's policy not to teach spin recovery, just avoidance. When you got your private ticket spin demo was required, correct?
pellis,
wow!

SFD,
yes I believe it was required. That was 1978. I learned to fly at Amelia Reid Aviation, Reid Hillview Airport. If you ever went to local airshows you may have seen Amelia do her stuff in a Cessna 150. Her planes were old and greasy, but fun to fly. Never had a lesson from her, but she gave me my check ride.
Pellis, I'd love to ride in that as well. There are several similar planes at Hollister airport.
The most unique plane I have flown in( not as PIC) was a 1932 Spartan Executive. Anybody heard of it? Sorry, no picture to post.
Imagine a Corporate Jet and back up 60 years or so.

Yep. I got the bug a couple of years back. I'm ~250 hours single/multi. Most of those hours are in a Cessna 310N Colemill conversion flying back and forth to the Bahamas.
We also did a trip from Tampa to Belize last year in a Seneca I. You want to talk about cabin fever!
It's amazing how the words "airplane" and "Bahamas" attract the women.

ironwedge,
Any chance you can arrange a group ride for the S2000 community? I'd go in either the 747-400 or the 777, just as long it is not an Airbus!!! I'm thinking JFK to Heathrow. I'll kick in $20.00 for gas.
