Any Robotech fans here?
I used to LOVE that cartoon when I was a kid. I always rushed home from school each day to catch each and every episode. Anyway, I just found out about Robotech: Battlecry for PS2 a week ago. I'm behind the times...it's been out since September. So guess what Santa brought me?

This game ROCKS!! It looks exactly like the cartoon-the Veritechs, the SDF-1, the explosions, the music-everything is recreated accurately. They did a tremendous job creating the game. It brought back so many memories. It is to cool to take part in Robotech as opposed to simply watching it. Anyone else have this game? How do you like it?
I will say it's a difficult game. I am stuck on the 2nd level where my mission is to defend the SDF-1 from the Zantraedi. I can't seem to defeat them all before the SDF-1's defensive barrier chain reacts. Any suggestions?

Jerry,
Re: The XBox. I know who you work for. You're supposed to say that.
I know th barrier will overload...I remember that from the show. I just can't seem to shoot down enough pods before it happens. Gotta try harder I guess.
Sumir....Macross? Never saw it. Don't care to. It's Robotech that I loved as a kid and Robotech that I love to play now. Macross may have been great, but it wouldn't bring back all the good memories.

I will put your ignorance to rest and tell you that in a way you have indeed seen macross. Robotech is the abomination created by taking 3 unrelated cartoons from japan and calling them Robotech. Macross is known to most american fans as the "1st" season of Robotech. The problem is that Harmony Gold bought international rights to Macross from a seller who did not have the rights to give. HG now tries to ban anything Macross from comming to America.
