Only single malts for me; as such, I like Glen Levit quite a bit. If your in a whiskey mood try Jamesons Irish Whiskey.

I like single malts too. Glenfiddich is my favorite of the ones I can actually afford, and I agree with Ross and elTiante that Tallisker and Glenlivet are excellent choices.

Crown royal is Canadian whiskey. All scotch comes from Scotland.

All I drink are single malts also. My favorite is GLENLIVET as well.
I'll make it a point to try the Jameson's.

Thanks for the recommendation.

For "day in / day out" I love Glenlivet. For those special time I break out the bottle of The McCallan 25 year old.

I make a border run now and again. The duty free shops sell green and blue label JW for half the price in the states. The friendly TABC station only charges about two bucks for the tax stamp. I can appreciate single malts but I still like the JW blends. Gold is an affordable alternative to the pricey labels and black is not half bad.

Where can I get the Green in the US? I saw it when I was in Laos, but buying it slipped my mind at the time.
