i played #1 on my highschool team (i am patting myself on the back right now).........i had to work during college so I didn't have any time...... I am just mediocre any more... i can still serve pretty well, but everything else is very rusty... i think I play 1-2 times per year for the past 10 years....

I'm a hack. Prolly a weak 3.5 these days. But I still like the game. Not enough to spend any time on another forum though!

 

Played HS, college tennis.
Stopped playing..(work got in the way).. then started playing mixed doubles with a group of friends.. last year went to LA for Nationals.
This year...I pretty much work.. very little time for tennis..
Just came back from watch the ATP tourny down in Mason, Ohio... that was cool. wish I could go to the US Open this year.. my friend should be playing in the doubles and maybe the mixed doubles this year.

 

I played in High School and Intermurals in college. I played in a league last year and was probably at the top of my game then. Then I pretty much just dropped it

 

Played Juniors (first tournement at 5) till End of High School. I played doubles with Andy Rodick for a few years when we were both in the juniors ranks. I started before him and played him in a final the very first tournement he played in and beat him . I was ranked 2nd in Austin during my juniors days and went to some invitational tournements in high school along with being #1 and captain of my high school team. *pat on back* Once I got to college though, that was pretty much it. I have to say it still kills me to see Andy in all the ATP tour events beating people like Sampras and Agassi who we both looked up to growing up. I can't even watch an entire match if he's playing any more cause there's always that voice in my head that says you shoulda stuck with it. Oh well, I'm happy where I am now, and I'm happy for him.

I used to play all the time when I was a kid. My brother (also in the forum) was pretty darn good too.

I played one year for college but was like # 5...so I rarely got to play...I liked hitting it w/the girls though....

I wish I could find someone to play around here....
