any writers or english/grammar teachers?
Is there a manual or book that has all the rules for proper writing/grammar? I used it in college but can't remember now. Its called the "something" writing manual...can't remember the name.
I think APA manual (and there's another one similar to it) talks about how to cite references and so forth for writing papers. I'm looking for the book that goes into when and how to use comma's, whether or not you can being a sentence with "And", how to use a semicolon, etc. Grammar rules.

If you want a simple guide, I suggest "Writer's Inc." I'm afraid I can't remember the author's name.
If you want the bible of writting properly, nothing is better than "The Elements of Style" by Strunk, White and Angell.
