Any of you guys in to Crawlers?
So a couple months ago I got into a Losi Micro 4x4 crawler. Since I got it I have been addicted to crawling. I even go outside the ofice on breaks just to crawl around the little rocks and stuff. My wife's cousin got me into crawling and he runs an Axial SCX10. I started with the micro to get a feel for the hobby and now I really want to get a 1/10 scale.
I absolutely love the idea of crawling, so much so that some time in the future I want to build a 1:1.
Anyway, here is my little 1/24 scale crawler build starting off in stock form and slowly transforming into a scaler.
First the Trekker in stock form

Then the addition of the HR aluminum shocks and blue Rubicon body mounted, taken out for some fun...

Next, relocated the esc and the battery. Picking it up in the center has a pretty 50/50 weight distribution.

Now, one of the main purposes for the esc and battery relocation, the new TJ body I stumbled across...

used to have a axial scx-10, scale truck. locked 4wd, tamiya toyota hilux body, rear cage, model racing seats and all kinds of accesories, man that thing was baaaadass. really sorry i sold it. if you ever look for a bigger crawler i highly recommend the axial scx-10, they make a couple different ones now, kits and ready-built ones. they look incredible, perform great, and not too much money.

I am currently adding parts here and there. I lucked out on it though as I bought it from rccrawler. It came with a Rastarr LR3 body! All I am waiting on now is aluminum links, wheels, and the RC4WD R2 tranny. I can't run the interior in the LR3 with the Axial tranny because the spur is too big.
It's pretty fun. I've lost the "go fast" bug in RC's and am now fascinated with the whole concept of crawling. Off-road vehicles traversing places that they are not meant to go is pretty sweet.
