Default Anybody airsoft?

I have a Tokyo Marui MP5 A4 (retractable stock) and a KSC Full Auto Glock 18C (which is kinda broken)

Anybody in this hobby? Maybe we can play together when the season comes in full effect.

Airosft is much like paintballing but players use full scale replica guns that propel .22 BB's at almost 400 fps. There are fps regulations in most leagues. My MP5 shoots 400 and my Glock shoots.... .9 J's? Can't convert that but at point blank it can puncture the top of a soda can through the bottom...

Anyone?

I used to, had a sig551 converted to 552 with custom 1100mah battery and all. Ever since the terroist attacks on sept 11, it hasn't been easy to play and not get attention. So..I sold the gun. It was an awesome cqb weapon.

cqb rocks, probably the best thing for airsoft. When range is increased, it takes away the fun of getting hurt when hit, so realism is lost. There's nothing like getting hit in the ear or even lip at close ranges. Gotta love the hostage scenarios.

I only played and competed in paintball. Didn't know there was such a thing as airsoft. How do you get the people out? Shoot them? How do you know if you hit someone or not? Honor system?

Damn, this sounds like it hurts a LOT more than paintballing....

hehe, it hurts more than paintball if you get contact with skin or thin clothing. The point of contact is much smaller and welts aren't as big as paintball welts, but hurt more as they cover a smaller surface area. Over in japan, they are really hardcore, nothing like the teams over in the US. They fire metal coated bbs that have ranges of around 300+ yards!!! it's insane to the extent most go to dress just like marines or the swat police or whatever! buying real military gear or police gear, it's crazy. When I played, we went by the three point rule, three points and you're out, 3 points for head shots, 2 points for torso shot and 1 point for shots at the limbs. There would be times when we played mercy rounds, basically the other guy getting shot would have to scream mercy to not get hit anymore when getting sprayed fully automatic.

I used to own a colt double eagle when I lived in Japan.

Whenever I was bored I used to shoot those huge japanese bumble bees out of the sky.

Pity I couldnt bring it back to Australia due to legal issues
