Default Anybody else have Dishnetwork??

then you know what I'm talking about...them dropping Comedy Central, BET, MTV, VH1, Nick...

This freaking sucks...no more Chappelle's show, South Park, or BET.... What the hell??
Has anyone called them and complained?

I hope this gets resolved soon....

I called Viacom and others. I don't feel it is Dish's problem when you are being held hostage for a 40% increase and other station bundling requirements. The only part that I miss is CBS for the NC2A's b'ball playoffs. Other than that I don't watch most of the stations that were taken off the air.
Going back to cable is an option but, in our area, the reception is poor even though they tout digital. It seems that there is a signal drop by the time it gets to our area and Comcast won't do anything about it.

I've been with Dish for almost four years. I tried digital cable a few months ago along side Dish and there was no comparison; Dish quality was much, much better. I've also seen Direct and their quality does not seem as good as Dish, but that could be due to the TV. I only know I will never go back to cable as long as there are other options. Cable sucks.

I personnally do not watch any of the currently missing Viacom channels. I see this as Dish standing up to rising rates. Dish could have just agreed and up'd our bill. I would like to think if the channels I do watch, Discovery, A&E, CNN, Fox, CNBC, were effected I would stay with Dish.

I have Dish too, but I think that the $2 credit each month for losing all those channels that perform a bulk of my already curtailed watching time each month is laughable.

I used to have Dish and switched to DirecTV and never been sorry. 2 or 3 times the channels for about the same price. (several years ago)
