Anybody ever heard of GlobalNet Services or Quixstar.com?

So I'm hangin' out at school at this guy comes up to me (UCI)...mid forties dressed in a suit....said he's recruiting for the corporation that he owns....we start chattin a little about my future plans after I graduate, he asks if I'm interested in his company where they are a virtual online mall, we start talking a little more becasue he starts tellng about making lots of money and planning my financial future...He gives me a couple books and starts telling all this stuff and at that point I'm pretty interested, then he mentions something about helping other people do the same also and that would help me make more money too...He also said that their was a startup fee but as he put it, it only costs the price of a dinner for you and a date, which is also exactly what it said in this book he gave me which makes me feel that his presentation was scripted very much because much of what he said was exactly the same as in the books word for word..now I'm thinking, is this a MLM or is this for real?...To me it sounds like another 2by2.net thing but I just wanted to know if any body out there knew more about this company because I don't want to waste his or my time in something that I am not interested in...He keeps telling me that the company is second to Amazon in online sales yet I've never heard of them, he also tells me that the company s suppose to make 1 trillion in the next couple of years or so and then asks me if I would even like to make 1% of that 1 trillion, it was possible....What's going on here?....

Can anybody that's familar with this company give me a little insight on it...Thanks....

Mike

NTB is right, Quixtar is just Amway online.

As far as I'm concerned, it's just another pyramid scheme, stay as far away from them as possible. I know lots of college students that got ed over by these guys.
