Anybody into Techno music?
I am an avid listener to Techno music, and have just bought a brand new Synthesizer...it's the Korg Karma
Anyways, if you care to listen to my first creation on the synth (~10MB), click here:
http://209.19.166.100/Music/7thGate(Gicky_Remix).mp3
It was all done live, no recording to sequencers or mixing it up, or editing it for that matter...this was all done realtime.
After trying to download this song from IE....you might want to try right-clicking on the link above and "save as"...

This is pretty cool. I cannot say I am a techno fan but this is pretty cool. I am a hardcore trance fan. Anyways, what else do you have other than a synthesizer? Any modules? This is pretty cool if you did all this with just a synthesizer. I believe it is not your first time, doing stuff like this.
Thanks guys!@
I'm a Paul Van Dyk or Paul Oakenfold listener...some Daft Punk, Trance nation, Ministry of Sound, etc.
hey Iggy, you might try musiccity.com and download their client "Morpheus"...it works like Napster used to...
QueRAM, I've got the Korg Karma, Ensoniq TS-10 (another synth), and the Roland MDC-10 (dance module)...I don't do much with the Dance Module as it's too cumbersome to get creative with it, and the sounds are halfway ok...but most just SUQ!
Anyways, I'll try creating more trance myself...been trying to get "inspired" with the new Synth, but it's just too much fun to just start serious recording...The sequencer is what is getting me...It's not like my Ensoniq's so it's taking some time to learn.
That Karma is AWESOME though...I couldn't get the same exact performance out of it twice though...it really is a real-time performance modeller!

Pretty cool song Aft3rburn. I still have my old Korg 01WFD and love it but the Karma is tempting.

For everyone looking to download trance songs (actually any type of songs) , use audiogalaxy.com. This is the best. It is far better than napster, morphous orany other that I tried. Go check it out.
My favourites are Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold, Warren, Paul Van Dyk and many more.
Aft3rburn, keep up the good work man. Make your new songs available for us to donwload. The reason I asked if you had any modules is that, I almost got into this myself. I was willing to get a synthesizer and the necessary equipment but they come out to be too expensive so I passed on.
