If it is a day game, it will be hot and humid!!!!
But you will enjoy it. Definitely get there early and as mentioned aboved check out Monument Park in left field.

In case anybody cares(I do) the Yankees are winning 8-3 as we speak(Day game at Yankee Stadium)

There is a new park by Coney Island in Brooklyn where the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets minor league team) play. I haven't been yet but it is supposed to be a cool stadium.

3:25pm Thursday 8/16/01 Yankees 11 Tampa Bay 3

Watching the game on TV as I work.

thank god for mjcohen..

the yankees have a veteran ball club that will get it done in the playoffs again this year. I agree, it is very cool to get the $5 tickets and sit with the bleacher creatures, but no matter where you are...you will still be at yankee stadium. Could life be any better than that?? oh,,yeah, there is also beer there!??

last i checked bleecher seats are 8bux....not like it's a huge difference from the 5 but what's worse is no alcohol in the bleecher area...so i suggest a nice tailgate before the game...bring plenty of beer...load up before the game and relax in the parking deck while watching others play stick ball (must be on the top level to see this.) that's what's great about yankee stadium

Just returned from New York and a Saturday game at Yankee stadium! Great game with the exception of the Yankees losing. Really looked like they were going to pull it out in the eighth and ninth innings. Especially after they played a clip from Rocky! ("What are yer waiting for?!") The fans were rocking the place! I tried to get there an hour before but my dear cabbie couldn't find his way to the ballpark! Took an hour and 15 minutes from the Madison Square Garden area! Our seats were about 10-15 rows behind Billy Crystal! That was kinda cool!

How do y'all feel about a new stadium? Wasn't there talk of building a new one? There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the place but the aisles are really crowded. Only one person at a time can get through and the concourse was pretty narrow as well. Concession lines were long and slow and bathrooms....forget about it! The Ballpark at Arlington is my favorite so far. San Francisco's new park is beautiful but cold and Enron is really nice, especially with the retractable roof.

All in all it was alot of fun! Now I'd like to see Wrigley!
