Default Anyone else getting screwed by Verizon?

I have a cell bill of a little over $400. Normally its $110 or so but I've been on the road a lot and using my cell. I talked them to get on their unlimited plan for $69.99 but they said they won't change the plan except on the 6th. WTF? Why can't you make the change and have it take effect on the 6th? Why do you actually have to call ON the 6th to have it done? I would have called on the 6th but that's when the S got hit by flying debris and my head was in a another space.

I'd suggest calling on the 6th.

I've changed my plan and it was made retroactive. I did it online though.

One thing AT&T is actually good at. I can make changes to my plans and rates at anytime and they will prorate.

Keep calling customer service, someone will eventually adjust your plan.

Verizon lets you retroactively upgrade your plan to avoid fees. My boss has had to do it with coworkers who did stupid things on their phones, like tons of out of country calls.

I changed my Verizon plan online and it went into effect the next day.

you can apply the changes retroactively... I have done so many times. You were probably just talking to a retard on the phone.

Take your bill up to a store and get someone in person to help you out

Sprint lets you do this too.

Retroactively alter plans to avoid fees or revert down-plan to get pro-rated fees back.

I purchased overage minutes after my bill showed I was about $40 over on my minutes. cost me $10.

Perhaps your dealing with the wrong person. s.hasan546 (syed) has been helping some people out in NY Metro, perhaps you can give him a call.

no complaints here.. get a 20% discount off service from my company and probably the best reception from any other carrier.
