I don't know who the HBP is.... but i wonder if it's Hagrid OR Seamus Finnigan. It has to be someone who we have been introduced to before. I just don't see it being Neville. A weird riddle she gave to open the most recent revelation about the book being done is this:

"I cannot be other than what I am
Until the man who made me dies.
Power and Glory will fall to me, finally,
Only when he last closes his eyes."

The answer this riddle is "Prince"... but for her to say until the man who made me dies. Makes you wonder. Now I might even think it could be Dumbledore since Volde.., err He who must not be named ( ) is always afraid of him.. HMMMMM!

^^^ BTW To add some more thought the reason I think it's Seamus is because for some UNKNOWN reason they kept in Part one the part where he said "I'm Half and Half.. Dad's a MUGGLE, Mum's a WITCH, bit of a surprise to him when he found out.." HMMMMM... Just something to ponder!

Hmmm. Good point. I don't remember that far back. I need to re-read them I think.

For quick reference.. watch the movie just after the sorting hat as they are eatting dinner. Seen the movies often enough to remember where it is exactly.

But like i said weird they kept it IN the movie too. JK has said before that there are several hints in the movies (essentials details) that will be referred to in future books. Keep in mind that she has a big part in making sure the movies are true to book!

Isn't Hermione a mudblood too? Who said it has to really be a prince? Maybe a princess?

Mudblood is something someone is called when they come from "Non Magic Folk". Mudblood is a term normally heard in civilized conversation to mean Dirty Blood.

Neville was also (as Harry) from a "Pure" Wizarding background (Even though Lily was a mudblood, you would consider Harry to be pure blood). I also don't think it'll be Hermoine since it's in the title.. "Half-Blood Prince". My money is on Hagrid OR Seamus (more on Seamus).

BTW if you guys ever are bored check out www.mugglenet.com best HP site around!
