Default Anyone else try Tito's Vodka?

First of all, let me say I'm a vodka snob. It's the only liqour I drink, and I've tried pretty much every brand out there. I stock Kettle to mix, Chopin to drink on the rocks, and Stoli Elit for vodka martinis. Ultimat is a close second for the martinis.

Upon urging from a friend, I went out and bought a bottle of Tito's. I was scared to even try a $15 bottle of vodka straight up. I chilled it in ice for half an hour and took a shot glass out to sip from...

I must say, this may be the smoothest Vodka I've ever tasted, right there with Elit. While there is a little less subtle elegance than the Elit, it's every bit as drinkable. This is a vodka you don't chase- there is no burn, and you just want to enjoy the flavor.

I'm utterly shocked. After spending $60 on a bottle of vodka, finding the same quality for 1/4 the price is amazing.

Has anyone else tried this stuff?

I've been drinking Tito's for almost 2 years now. I first had experience with it at the 2006 Masters. It's been my litlte secret as i also have a cabinet of liquor with a few high end Vodkas. I always drink Tito's anymore from the freezer.

Meh. Stoli only in my White Russians; as The Dude mandates.

High end Vodka seems a bit odd to me: I like tasting my booze. . . and this seems to be a quest to get the most neutral (non?) taste. . . I don't get it.

Aberlour, Ardbeg, or Old Potrero for me.

Correct. Titos is a vodka from Texas. Its relatively common here in AZ and I would agree its definitely underrated, especially for the price.
