You've got to be kidding me....with the fires in So Cal and all over our state, trash in the streets and on the freeways in the LA area.

Pay the ticket and keep the butts in your car....

What a stupid thing to do. The world isn't your ashtray. You deserve the ticket. I hope the fine is big.

Yeah imseksy, I have to agree with 05S2KinClovis_CA. You're in the forest fire capitol of the world. Small fires become major, neighborhood destroying fires quickly because someone was careless.

My dad smoked for years and when he was finished w/ a cigarette, he would make sure it was out. If he wasn't near an ashtray, he'd stomp on it to make sure it was out then pick it up and put it in his pocket til he got to a trash can.

No offense, but consider yourself lucky, take it as a lesson learned and don't toss butts out like that.

Nice.

Just pay the ticket. Not worth fighting IMO but it is a ticket. I don't even smoke

Support for littering, support for destroying the roadsides, support for causing fires. I don't care if it's a butt, a soft drink cup or a kleenex. Why should we support that type of behavior. If we're choosing to do 70 in a 65 or 50 in a 35 we deserve the ticket when we get caught. That's what the track is for.

If you were caught, suck it up, pay for it and don't weasel out on the fine looking for a f_ing loophole. Learn to keep it in your car and not on "our" streets...Done

i dont want to turn this into an ethics issue... but im not supporting littering all the way... i dont work for the support littering headquarters... so you are saying that if u do 70 in a 65 then you deserve the ticket WHEN YOU GET CAUGHT? more like you deserve the ticket the whole time you are going 70, and if you want to argue for speeding then look at what you are doing to the community, possibly killing someone with your high speed, you can cause accidents and cause injury or death to yourself and to other people and their property.. everyone makes mistakes and finally realizes it when they get caught, if you speed then keep it off "our" streets and go to the track and pay fees if you want to go over 70 MPH.. i speed as well but i am just making a point that you are just being too cynical. if you were to get a speeding ticket you would try to fight it so you wouldnt get fined or get a point on your record. so dont blame me for asking about something like this... because if you were in my position you would look for desperate way to get our of your ticket.. unless you dont really care about paying high insurance rates and such.... Pay the bloody fine - and don't do it again . I've no respect for those who don't respect the environment by littering - all it does is make a statement about how much you (don't) respect yourself.

damn dude what do you want from us? you ****ed up and now you gotta pay the fine, act like a man and face your punishment.. sure you'll get away speeding/throwing away shit once in a while but that doesnt mean you can do it all the time.

In texas you gotta pay a fine of 250-500 bucks if caught throwing away ANYTHING! there is alot of advertisements in our state showing that law. A cop once told us, if you were to ever get caught throwing a piece of trash even Biodegradable you are still subject to fines thats how it is, live with it.
