Default Anyone have a BlackBerry?

I'm helping out a friend of mine setting his up to sync with Microsoft Outlook, after the first sync, his contacts and numbers were loaded to the BB; and now I tried to upload his new contacts, but nothing is happening.

Do any of you guys know anything about them?

Most of my knowledge goes with Palm systems, this is a little out of my range.

Anyone have any tips??

thnx

Try going into messages then options (push wheel second time). See if you are set to mailbox wins. Also ensure that your Blackberry Desk Top Manager is configured correctly for sync.

#1 reason that it won't resync is that the BlackBerry Desktop Manager was closed. I see it happen all the time since it doesn't warn you when you close the app.

#2 reason and it's a huge PITA.... if he already had intellisync installed from a previous palm device, the two versions tend to corrupt themselves. Even reinstalling the desktop redirector will not solve this issue. You need to delete some files (not exactly sure where they are).

Also, there's a synchronization log button when you go to set up the synch. Take a look in the log to see what it says. If there's an error, google it to get some solutions.

Hope this helps.

I sell them for Verizon, but we normally do not get users to use the desktop redirector, they mainly use the BES system.
